NOTD: Zoya Harley

Wow, I haven't had this much trouble with a polish in a long time! I didn't even do clean up on it because I just was so frustrated. I re-did my thumb five times and I'm still not happy with it. Anyway, Harley is Zoya's light grey offering (jumping on the trend) for Spring 2009. It is one of the most popular from their spring collection from everything I've read. I'll admit that has me a little puzzled.

The Color: The color of Harley is a bit like concrete. There is supposed to be subtle shimmer in it but I can't see it on my nails. I don't HATE this color, it might be one of those that grows on me. Only time will tell.

The Texture: Application was a nightmare. I don't know how a polish can be both thin and thick at the same time, but this was. Maybe it would behave better with Zoya's base and top coat, but using what I usually do I was just at a loss for a good application.

The Wear: I usually love how Zoya's polishes wear. But the trouble I had with application left such a bad taste in my mouth I might not be wearing it long enough to tell you.

The Bottom Line: If you love the grey trend and you're life won't be complete without Harley, then get it. Otherwise, I'd say this is skip-able.
