Motivation Week - My Husband's Idea of Motivation

Aside from threatening me with a cattle prod my husband's idea of clothing motivation is this:

I have never worn this dress. When Mike purchased this for me I had maybe 10-15 lbs to lose before I could fit into it. Now I have about 30. He's upset with me that I don't count this as incentive to lose.

Why don't I count it as incentive to lose?
  1. It's not age appropriate - we found this in the juniors section of Macy's. The length is just a little bit too short, the top just a little bit too revealing.
  2. It feels cheap - I don't like the material. The dress wasn't super inexpensive either, it's just how things are made and priced in the juniors department
  3. I would have a hard time finding places to wear this - even wearing it with a cardigan probably wouldn't help me because it just wouldn't look right.
The plus side: The cut on the top made my boobs look SO GOOD I agreed to let Mike purchase it. And I do love it that he was thinking of me and like it on me (even though I couldn't zip it up) enough to buy it.

This is how you know it's a Juniors dress intended to be a Junior's dress - it's a Size 11. I rarely (if ever) see odd number sizing outside of the Juniors. I remember when I was in high school and started to branch out a bit from just the department store Juniors section. I was really thrown when I couldn't find my Size 7.
