Polish fo the Day - Rescue Beauty Lounge Frugalista

Finger nails that SHINE LIKE JUSTICE!!!

Pictures of this Polish LIE! Every polish blogger I've seen post of this picture uses pictures so blown up you can see imperfections, places where the polish didn't cover and it truly looks like you stuck your nails in kindergarten glue and glitter. SO NOT THE CASE. I should never have held off on buying these. Let me address my fears one by one:

1) The Glitter Nail Shows Through The Glitter Layer - Not the case if you do two coats. Three probably even better.
2) The Glitter is Too Bumpy - With two cots of Lippmann Addicted to Speed on top it's textured, but not in a bad way.
3) It's Hard to Apply - Hell no! Not any different than a "normal polish"
4) It's Hard to Remove - Just make sure you have acetone and a little bit of time. It will come off reasonably then.
5) It Looks Cheap and Tacky - well, that's a personal opinion.
6) It's Not Worth $18 - It's not. That's why I purchased it during the RBL 50% off MeaCulpa sale. 'Frugalista' is a poor name for the polish really.

The Color: Silver with fuchsia glitter. Clear base.

The Formula: This is so chock full of glitter it's amazing. Cleanup is a bit of a mess, as you can see. My Sephora Corrector Pen was thwarted.

The Wear: Glitter formulas are known for wearing well. I doubt this one will be a problem.

The Bottom Line: If you like glitter, grab it while it's on sale. If you don't like glitter, like me, you might be surprised so grab it and try it out and if you don't like it give it to a little girl you know.

I also purchased Locavore. I wish I had purchased Look Rich, Be Cheap too.
