Polish of the Day - China Glaze Sexy and the City

Yay! Everything's back to normal after Mike's Birthday. Phew!

Already accidentally posted this on Friday so I'm sorry if you're seeing duplicates. That was unintended.

I've had a really nasty week last week and was in serious need of a pick-me-up. China Glaze to the rescue! No matter what your mood, this brand has a color for it. Thus, I chose one of my untrieds - Sexy and the City.

The Color: Aqua blue with a hint of green shimmer making it look teal in some lights. Metallic turquoise. It's not particularly unique though. Reminded me of Creative Nail Design Hotsky to trotsky (or however it's spelled). However, I have gotten more compliments on this nail polish color than any other color I've worn. My husband, however, said "It looks like car paint".

The Formula: I have to say this was little thin. The application was runny and messy. Not what I usually get from China Glaze. But it wasn't bad enough to ditch the polish. Just not as thick as I'd like.

The Wear: I've worn it for 4 days with only tip wear. Usually, my nails are so bad the peelies take over and start to cause problems. Not so with this one. Used Sally Hansen Miracle Cure topped with Orly Bonder, then the color, then Lippmann Addicted To Speed. Wow.

The Bottom Line: Do you like it? Ok, that's all you need to know about this one.
