Quest For My Pretty - Weekly Weight Loss Report

Very bad week, but the scale didn't reflect that. I went to New York City for business, then a friend came to visit from out of town. Both situations mean the food and the wine were present in abundance and being enjoyed. Since last Wednesday, I've eaten out at least 10 times - I'm not kidding. That's usually a very bad thing to do.

First, I just have to say I did get to go to Perilla, my restaurant of choice when I go to New York on business. Yes, I am a fan of Top Chef but I've never seen season one in it's entirety. But I would not have found this lovely little gem of a restaurant if my friend Tara hadn't said "Oh! While you're in New York go to Perilla! It's Harold's restaurant!" two years ago. Delicious, and not a bad value considering it's NYC.

Weight: 189 (-2) I honestly have no idea how this happened but I weighed myself four times to make sure that's what the scale said.

What I did right this week: Honestly not much. But somehow I still lost. Maybe what I did right was take a business trip. I do tend to lose when I go on them, but it throws everything off. I wonder if it's possible to lose weight even though you're eating like a pig just because of stress.

What I want to improve on next week: Considering my habits of the last week, just returning to my normal life style should be a little bit of an improvement. But watch - I will not lose next week. So counter intuitive.
