AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam - Nice, but is is ruining my towels?

A few months ago I won three products from AmorePacific in a contest posted on Temptalia. Awesome, right? Winning skincare is pretty much the best thing ever because it is so pricey to try good skincare products. Sure, Sephora can give you samples of items but you never get enough to give it a good run before forking over the cash. Well the first thing I wanted to try was the Treatment Cleansing Foam.

What is it supposed to do?
Well, basically just wash away your makeup and deliver your skin some much desired Vitamin E.

What's it Like?
Well it's a white cream with some small blue beads in it. Not enough blue beads to be like an exfoliation mix, but it does give the cream a little bit of texture. You mix it with water and put it on your face. I found the "foam" to be not very foam-like - it's really more like liquid soap. But the mixture seemed very moisturizing to me, and I quite liked that.

Long Term?
Like most cleansing products I've tried, after using it for a month or so I start to feel like it's not really doing much for the price. So really, I'd put this in the category of "get it only if you really like the way it feels on your skin" otherwise pass for something less pricey.

But here's the kicker...

Not too long before I started using AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam I purchased new towels - Sage Green in color. I have been using the same towel continuously. It can not be confused at all with my husband's towel...

Now, what does this tell us? Well, obviously I'm not rinsing my face well enough before using my towel. While I can't be certain it's the AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam changing my green towel to yellow, I can tell you that in terms of what touches our towels the AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam is the only big difference I can think of. My husband's towel is very much still the same green color we purchased.

I should have taken the picture the first week - you whould have seen only yellow in the center of the towel, where my face hits it when I'm drying it off after being washed, with tiny yellowed edges where my hands would grasp the towel. It was a very specific spread.

AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Foam runs a wopping $50 at Sephora for 4.1 ounces. I could buy a few towels for that. I really would recommend this if the price were a little less (more like $20) and if I didn't suspect it of towel sabotage.
