Look - Using Parrot (thanks to @karenmbb)

The other day I was on Twitter and saw karenmbb of Makeup and Beauty Blog post something to have us guess a bunch of MAC shadow colors. One of them was Parrot. I mentioned that I love Parrot but still have no idea how to use it. She responded:

"Try it on the lid with your favorite brown in the crease. Just be sure to blend it out really, really well so there aren't any harsh lines between Parrot and your brown!"

I decided to give it a shot...

My eyes came out a little uneven, which I blame on nearsightedness.

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Parrot Eyeshadow (LE) - on lid.
  • MAC Mulch Eyeshadow - in crease
  • MAC Showstopper Eye Shadow (LE) - mix with Mulch
  • MAC Shore Leave Eye Shadow - As brow highlight and inner corner highlight a little
  • Urban Decay Oil Slick 24/7 Liner
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Plushblack

  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC15
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
  • MAC Strada Blush (Discontinued) - to contour
  • MAC Stray Rose Blush (LE) - on apples of cheek

  • MAC Dervish Lip Liner - Karenmbb was also looking for combos with Dervish Liner so she's inspired me to start using it again.
  • MAC Tender Tryst Lip Stain (LE)
  • MAC Viva Glam VI Lipglass
Now the funny thing, of course, is that I wore this look to the salon. One of my salon services that day was brow waxing. Of course, that ruined the eye look. But hey, I'll have nice clean brows for a while! Though not this picture obviously.
