Polish - Comparison: Lippmann Good Girl Gone Bad vs. Nars Tokaido Express

When Nars released Tokaido Express I wanted it instantly. I had issues getting my hands on it, so I put it off for a while. But the reason for my obsession was that the the description sounded like maybe it would be a dupe for my beloved Lippmann Good Girl Gone Bad.

I figured I might not be the only person interested in seeing a comparison, so I thought I'd create one. Don't worry - a full Tokaido Express mani will be coming!

Lippmann Good Girl Gone Bad (Left), Nars Tokaido Express (Right)

As you can see, they are different colors. The glitter is more pronounced in good Girl Gone Bad, and Tokaido Express is more pigmented in it's base, more purple than red. It felt like the Nars might be a higher quality polish when I was applying them to the sample plastic nail. It was definately a smoother application.

Anyway, once my Good Girl Gone Bad mini bottle is gone, Tokaido Express won't replace it, but it might be able to fill the gap in my collection a little bit. Not enough, though! Come on, Ms. Lippmann! Please make Good Girl Gone Bad a perminant shade!!!
