"Sue Storm" Eyes - With the Help of Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner

Do you remember the Fantastic Four movies? While everyone was watching Jessica Alba trying to act, I was watching her makeup. I was in absolute love with her dark blue winged liner. I wanted to recreate it. For a long time I thought the only eyeliner that could satisfy my "Sue Storm Eyes" craving was Mac's Penned Fluidline, a limited release that I missed out on. My search finally lead me to Bobbi Brown and her Long-wear Gel Eyeliners.

I know already! Wings disappear when I open my eyes... Why do I even try???

Breakdown
  • MAC Next to Nothing Eyeshadow
  • Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Cobalt Ink
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Black

Why Bobbi Brown?
Well, see, Temptalia totally caught me with her review of the new Nectar Shimmerbrick. As long as I was purchasing that I might as well get something else right?

Well I was dissapointed. I love my MAC Fluidlines and Bobbi's Long-wear Gel Liners do not have the intensity or the smoothness MAC Fluidlines can offer. In fact, I thought the quality of the finished line resembled more of a pencil than a gel liner. I am not a fan. And yes, it did smudge through out the day.

Oh well, I guess it's something to talk about next week in the #PrettyPowerful contests right?

Oh well, back to my hunt for the perfect blue gel liner...
