Blue Eye Shadow Look 3: MAC Silverbleu Paintstick Inspired

My frakking paint sticks! I never use them. Mostly I don't use them because they just aren't worth the trouble if there's a shadow in a similar shade. But MAC Silverblue really is too pretty to be shoved away in a corner getting even more dry than it already is. I had to use it...

Can you tell I was wearing my glasses a moment before this? I sure can. I hate that. Grrr... Anyway, I chose to tame the Silverbleu this time by playing off the slight purple undertone. I used it in conjunction with MAC Thunder Shadow and got this. I'm not totally unhappy about it either.

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Paintstick in Silverbleu - All over the lid. Several times. Try about 20. I couldn't get the color to transfer.
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Thunder (LE) - Corner and Crease
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Sunday Best (LE) - Brow highlight
  • MAC Pearlglide liner in Wolf (LE) - I wish this were perm.
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Plushbalck
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Light,
  • MAC Blush in Don't Be Shy (LE)- I still think Barbie Loves MAC was my favorite collection ever.
  • MAC Creamstick Liner in Pink Treat
  • MAC Lipstick in High Top (LE) - I wanted to do something with the purple/green tone of this without making it too harsh
  • MAC Lipglass in Pink Meringue - been using this a lot lately to make things more pink or to tone things down.
