Dupe Hunting - Comparing a few of my OPI Reds...

I was in the mood to put on a red polish last night and immediately went to my OPI drawer. I have some of my favorite reds in there, as well as few I haven't tried. But when I was looking I was struck by how similar Changing of the Garnet, Suzi Loves Sydney, It's a Doozi Says Suzi, and Russian to a Party looked in the bottle. But bottle comparisons can be very deceiving... so I swatched on a wheel!

Under bright flash...

Left to Right: OPI Russian To A Party, OPI Suzi Loves Sydney, OPI Changing of the Garnet, and OPI It's a Doozi Says Suzi

The Verdict
As you can see, none of them are complete dupes of each other. I would say that Russian to a Party is extremely Similar to It's a Doozi Says Suzi. The only real difference between Changing of the Garnet and Suzi Loves Sydney is that Suzi Loves Sydney is a touch darker (and I think prettier for it). But they are definitely sisters. The sad thing is, I don't think any of these are currently offered by OPI, though I suspect you can find Doozi and Sydney around. Ebay Prices on all of them aren't terrible, though obviously the older ones are a bit more expensive: Doozi and Sydney look reasonable.
