Look - Subtily Playing With Thunder

What do you think of this?

I wore this to a Bridal Shower this weekend for the fiance of a good friend of mine. Well, I like to consider the bride a friend too but I still get introduced as "she works with the groom". Oh well, that's ok. They are both cool people.

Back to the look - I had to pull out Subtle after playing around with Coco last week. I decided I didn't want to use Entremauve pigment because I find that one a little hard to control, so I went to a different purple - Thunder. I chose the wrong highlight though (Phloof). It ended up just a touch too frosty.

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Subtle Pigment (LE) - on lid
  • MAC Thunder Eye Shadow (LE) - In crease and outer corner
  • MAC Phloof Eye Shadow - Brow highlight and on lower lid
  • MAC Nightfish Fluidline (LE) - on upper lash line. I didn't want a straight black.
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Plushblack

  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
  • MAC Strada Blush - I am still upset this was discontinued
  • MAC Flirt n' Tease Blush - lightly on apples

  • MAC Full Blown Lipstick (LE)
  • MAC Viva Glam VI Special Edition Lipglass
And by the way, the eyes lasted all night long. I took this look in to the Bachelorette party. I didn't think I would have time to change in between the shower and the party originally so I wanted something that would work for both. I had a chance to make a little bit of a change and pumped up the lips with MAC Magnetique lipglass and MAC Rockin Chick Lipstick.

I really need to learn how to do my hair. Everything is looking the same because my hair looks the same.
