Quest For My Pretty: Checking In

Hi everyone!

Just checking in. I'm not two weeks in to my 2 miles a day for 80 days challenge and and I'm woefully behind. I know exactly how it happened too. I had a busy week the starting week and tried to make up for it by doing a lot more miles at once than I should. I had a couple of instances of 6 miles and change... but the times I did that it set me back a couple of days. I was just too tired or sore.

I have learned a few things...
  1. Trying to make up for lost days is something I should not do right now - my body is just not in shape for it.
  2. I can easily do about 3 miles every other day, but doing 3 miles every day is a little bit of a stretch (but not horrible).
  3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is harder to work out to than Alias.
At this point, I am not confident I'll make the full 80 miles. But if I don't, we'll see how long it takes to get to 80 miles. The best thing is that I'm getting in there, even if it's not as productive as last year.

As for the food - I know I wrote everything down. But I just can't think of doing too much right now. I do know that I need to stick with the trend I was on of eating something other than fries with my veggie burger (salad perhaps). I want to concentrate on that.
