Loving MAC Charred Mauve Greasepaint Stick... Under Pink!

I've been having a problem with my New Greasepaint sticks. They are just so darn dark on my light lids! So I decided to try some layering today with a shadow I rarely use: Swish. What resulted was a beautiful eye (in my opinion) driven entirely by Greasepaint Charred Mauve. Have a look...

Yes, you have to really get in closer look to see what I did....

Breakdown

Eyes
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Greasepaint Stick in Charred Mauve - Colored all over lid. I smudged a bit with my finger because I've been finding these are tricky trying to get a smooth line.
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Swish - Pat on top of the Charred mauve to get the purple color. Massage your brush around the outer eye to get the slight pink halo effect.
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Phloof - Brow highlight blended in to the Swish
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Plushblack

Face
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
  • MAC Mineralize Blush in Grand Duo - Put on very lightly. This sucker is pigmented!

Lips
  • MAC Lip Liner in Dervish
  • MAC Slimshine in Long Stem Rose
  • Zoya Hot Lips in Meow - as gloss. I love this color. And it's not sticky! Yay Zoya!
