Polish - Deborah Lippmann Superstar

Think I showed you this one on my toes once, but I had to do a mani with it.

Ok, so I know "Lippmann Collection" is now "Deborah Lippmann" but this is an older bottle from last summer's Celebrate collection. I wore it Saturday night to a poker game. Believe it or not I got a lot of dissapointed comments that I didn't color-coordinate my tips to the chips the way I did the last time. I thought the bling of Superstar would be much easier and still appropriate.

Did Superstar Bring Me Luck?
No - I generally suck at Poker. But my husband managed to get a third place out of the 18 people there (for the second time). He said if it happens a third time he's going to walk in and say "give me my third place winnings and I'll save you some trouble." I'd like to see him get away with it. Either way, I won a few hands from my husband - that was very satisfying and totally worth the cost of playing.

On to the polish...

Color
Coppery-orange glitter in a coppery-orange-brown base. Very blingy. I don't consider it very pretty though.

Application
Two coats on this, though I should have gone for three. There are places on my tips that have no glitter and all base - probably do to my bottle sitting around for 3/4 of a year.

Wear
Pretty darn good, but I expect that of Lippmann polishes and glitters in general.

Bottom Line
It's a statement polish. And the color will look better on some than others. Not a must have, but a nice to have.

Don't forget!
I am giving away a bottle of OPI Have You Seen My Limo. Enter today!
