A Face of the Day - Tainted "Next to Nothing" Isn't So Bad

So I got it in my head that I wanted to try another red eye look. I planned on using MAC Next to Nothing as my brow highlight (as I have been doing a lot lately). But when I got up in the morning, my brush was still wet. Since Next to Nothing is next to several darker shades in my Smoking Eyes quad, My Next to Nothing quickly got tainted by water mixing the darker shade  powder on top. The result turned out... blue?

Weird right? But not all together terrible. I even got a few compliments on it at work. Here was the rest:

Breakdown

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Wedge - All over lid
  • MAC Pigment in Heritage Rouge - in crease
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Mulch - tapped in outer corner blending into crease
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Next to Nothing - tainted! And above the heritage rouge

Lips
- no one should ever have to wear this much lipstick, but I was having issues getting the color correct.
  • MAC Pro Longwear Lipstain Marker in Runway Ripened - I swear... this color lasts FOREVER on my lips. Applied in the morning had to scrub it off in the shower at night.
