My Face of the Day for The Althea Harper Trunk Show

You know I agonized over what I would wear on my face to Althea Harper's Trunk Show. I had this picture in my mind - and I think I got pretty close to what I wanted to do.

I was really feeling the MAC Circa Plum this day. I wanted to something pretty with it. In the end I sort of covered it up, but it still looks nice.

Breakdown

Eyes
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Paint Pot in Perky - all over lid
  • MAC Pigment in Circa Plum - Patted on top of Perky
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Shale - Swept all over the Circa Plum (see I said I covered it up). Shale is an under appreciated color in my opinion, by the way.
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Shadowy Lady - touched into crease very lightly.
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Next to Nothing - brow highlight
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Tilt - Using pencil brush, fill in lower lid with Tilt
  • MAC Kohl Power in Feline - Waterlined the entire eye, then smudged a little bit along the top with Shadowy Lady
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Plushblack
Tilt Tip: MAC Tilt is a duochrome eyeshadow. Try it over black sometime. You get some interesting green hues.

Face
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
  • MAC Blush in Strada
  • MAC Blush in Plum Foolery
Lips - Why do I always get my hair sticking to my lipglass? Oh right - sticky MAC lipglass
  • Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Sex Machine
  • MAC Lipglass in Quick Tease

And an odd profile shot which for some reason I decided looked nice and wanted to share.

Doesn't my cheek look pretty? MAC Strada is (was) MAGIC!
