Polish - Milani Dot Com from Liquid Metals

And my last Milani Liquid Metals Purchase: Dot Com:

I must say that I've sort of hated the names of these polishes. Considering all the other polishes that have done online, texting, social net working names this collection's naming almost feels out dated. Oh well. Like the names, the polishes over all in this series feel to me like I've seen them before. Each one reminded me of another polish. Am I just getting hard to please?

Color
Purple with bronze shimmer. Like 2.0, not a foil finish but definitely different. In some lights, this polish can look more bronze-brown than purple. It reminds me a little of Zoya Anastasia or some of the others in the Magique line.

Application
Thick enough you might be able to get away with one coat. I used two here.

Wear
On par with the other Liquid Metals by Milani. I do find they chip a little easier than other polishes on me, but my nails are also peeling right now. Again.

Bottom Line
Not as great as I had hoped. I'd go for Zoya Anastasia or Zoya Pru instead.

On a side note, I decided to wear a new bracelet I made today. It's adapted from a necklace in Lisa Kahn's Bead Romantique: Elegant Beadweaving Designs book.

It's not perfect, but what do you think? Back when I started it (many moons ago) I wanted something blingy and sparkly and probably just a bit gaudy. It didn't take long to make, but I kept putting it down.  I did share this over twitter a while ago. But I wanted to post it here before it falls apart. I am still relatively new to beading so I have a lot to learn!
