Polish - Sephora by OPI: Leaf Him At the Altar

I wasn't expecting to like this one as much as I did.

I don't like the name "Leaf Him At The Altar" because I feel like there are so many potentially negative things about that name. No matter how empowering it might be to leave someone at the altar, someone will get hurt (you or the other person) and that can't be fun. But this polish is so pretty and gorgeous AND long-wearing I have to disregard the name. Yes, there are times when I take things too seriously.

Gorgeous medium green metallic with hint of a golden sheen. It is almost a foil. So close to being a foil!!! I wanted to compare this color with Zoya Irene because I thought of it as soon as I put it on my nails. Alas, I can not find Irene!

Two coats, but a little streaky. Not the smoothest metallic to come in contact with my tips.

Here is the amazing part - I've been wearing Leaf Him At the Altar for 3 days now  and I have minimal tip wear. That includes wearing this polish through a muddy/rainy softball game as catcher. With Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and Seche Vite, this sucker stayed put so well. I am very impressed.

Bottom Line
With the plethora of green polishes out there right now, there might be a good dupe in existence (Irene???). But Leaf Him At the Altar deserves your attention (and purchase) if the color appeals to you. Go get it!

You can buy Leaf Him At the Altar at for $9. Also available in Sephora stores.

Note: I still hate the price of $OPIs...
