Don't Underestimate Later. Pigment by MAC... or Stereo Rose MSF

I certainly did. Underestimate them that is. Honestly I thought Later. Pigment from the Alice + Olivia collection would be one of those things I purchased and subsequently never used... so I forced myself to use it. Same thing with Stereo Rose. When I took it out of it's box it screamed at me "HORRIBLE FOR YOUR SKINTONE, SUCKER!"  but I must say, I was quite happy building color with it. And Stereo Rose stayed put all day.

Too bad I somehow forgot to blend my foundation under the right eye.
Note to self: Get better lighting in the bathroom.

Breakdown - Don't copy my mistakes please. Thank you!

Eyes - yes, I need some brow work...
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • MAC Pigment in Later. - smudged along lash line upper and lower
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Moth Brown - blended in to the rest of the lid.
  • MAC Eye Shadow in Magic Dust - brow highlight
  • MAC Kohl Power in Feline - lined upper and lower
  • MAC Plushlash Mascara in Plushblack

Face
- had to take a cheek shot to show you what a lovely finish I got out of my Stereo Rose and By Candlelight
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Candlelight - Around outside edge of face
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose - built color over several light layers. I really didn't think I would like this Skinfinish. Now I understand why people loved it so much. But it's not magic, people.

Lips

  • Nars Matte Lip Pencil in Sex Machine - Fill in entire lip
  • MAC Lip Gelee in Who's That Lady? - spread over on top
Later. is my first MAC pigment with the new packaging. I must say I am not a fan. It's really not as easy to get pigment out of that jar and I'm totally terrified I will spill it. With the old packaging I used to just take the pigment right of the lid. Can't do that anymore, although I do appreicate the little tab on the plastic barrier.
