Polish - Chanel Paradoxal

I know you're all tired of seeing this polish everywhere, but you haven't seen it on me yet!

I wasn't going to get Paradoxal originally but when I put the query out to Twitter as to whether or not I would regret that decision and the answer came back an emphatic "YES" I went out immediately and purchased it.  I also picked up the two eye shadow singles, which compliment this nail polish very well.

That being said, I don't think it's quite as crazy special as everyone says. However, this color is an easy polish to wear, it's slightly unusual, and it's very elegant. It could be a go-to color for many women, including myself (if I didn't keep buying new colors to try).

By the way, the Macy's at the Dayton Mall had TONS of Paradoxal on Friday just so you know.

Dusty purple with shimmer. I don't really think it's as complex as others are saying. It's just a dusty, taupe-purple. Pretty, but is it hype-worthy? In the bottle it looks like red shimmer. On the nail you can't see it at all unless you're in sunlight (or camera flash) and even then it's hard to see. I love the color, but if you're counting on a shimmery or duo-chrome effect, don't. It behaves far more like a cream. Am I noticing a pattern in Chanel polishes?

Very pleased. This one is very pigmented and nearly opaque with one coat. I put on two coats.

Over Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and topped with Seche Vite I have had no trouble with this Chanel.

Bottom Line
It's supposed to be the "IT" color for fall, you know. But I'm not sure I'm subscribing to that statement.

Just sad I had to remove Zoya Drew to show this to you...
