Polish - Zoya Bijou - And What a Surprise Bijou IS!!!!

This is my first polish I am wearing from my boat load of polishes I got during the Zoya Exchange program. I was ready to write this off as a "pretty color but not worth it" polish but Bijou really surprised me with her wear and longevity. I put her through some tough times - 3 days of wear, a horribly brutal softball game, cleaning my home office... and all I have is a bit of tip wear.

Color
Pinkish-melon, almost a hot-pink but not quite. She is loaded with glitter/shimmer that sits inside of a translucent jelly base. So if you're going for opacity, Bijou is going to be a bit frustrating.  Bijou is very bright and cheery. This truly is a great summer color for either tips or toes. Perfect companion to your cool summer drink by a pool.

Application
Here's Bijou's only problem: 3 + coats. And she dries pretty slowly, so you do run the risk of messing up your first coat by painting over a second coat. Usually I do mine in rapid succession with very little problems. Not so with my little Bijou. Be patient with her. This is not what I normally experience with Zoya so I was a bit shocked.

Wear
Using Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator as a base and Seche Vite as a topcoat, I am getting FAN-FRACKING-TASTIC wear out of this little color!!! I can't believe the hell I have put Bijou through since application and she's wearing like a dream. An unbelievable dream for me!

Bottom Line
I usually loath polishes like this due to the application and opacity issues but this little Bijou has won my heart.
