Polish - Barielle Blackened Bleu

This is my first Barielle polish I am reviewing on my blog! I finally got around to purchasing, so of course I had to pick up some of the polishes from the  All Lacquered Up collection. After all, I have been saying I would pick them up for a year now...

Michelle and Barielle really hit the nail on the head with this one. One problem I have had with most black-based polishes is that they show up black on the nails even if they have color. The great thing about this polish is that it does not come off as black at all!

Michelle describes it as the "best parts" of China Glaze Blk-Billa-Bong and Chanel Nuit de Russe. Not owning the Chanel I wouldn't be able to tell you if I agree but the name of this polish is very descriptive. It is most definitely a blackened blue. Black base with blue glitter. Loads of blue particles. Sometimes it comes off as teal as a result, but it is gorgeous.

Three coats on this just to be on the safe side. You might be able to get full coverage with 2 coats but I did not. Used over Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and Topped with Seche Vite.

I had tip wear by the end of my first day. No cracks or chips though.

Bottom Line
If you want a near black that isn't black, Blackened Bleu is a good one to have in your collection.
