Polish - Zoya Isla

...but not as pretty as the other Zoya red I just reviewed (Blair) in my opinion. Here's the funny thing - I wore this to work the same day that my friend Kara wore Zoya Divincia. We held our hands side by side and were a little surprised at the similarities. Kara's skin tone is darker than mine so that could have been throwing it off. In short - I have every intention of doing a side by side comparison of Divinica, Blair, and Isla for all of you who might be interested. Keep your eyes opened.

My Good Fairy over at Zoya said Isla was her favorite red and I can certainly see why. I was reminded a little bit of the infamous OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress, so I suspect I have another comparison to throw in.

Medium-toned true red. The finish is metallic and gorgeous.

Two coats, no issues.

Over Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and topped with Seche Vite I had a little bit of tip wear the first day. This might havebeen due to the condition of my nails in the area where it wore. I will say this - the manicure did not survive gardening even with gloves on and I did have to cut my nails way back...

Bottom Line
If red is your thing, Isla is a fine color. But I suspect there are dupes out there...
