Ling Skincare Diary - Week 6

Week 6 is done! My skin is starting to clear again, and I think it has to do with the changes I made to the routine:
  • I went back to my old toner from my dermatologist. It has a bit more oooph than the Replenishing Hydrator by Ling. I think my skin likes the switch back to the old.
  • I have been using the Oxygen Plasma Potion exclusively instead of Moisture Plenish. This was recommended to me by the PR contact I had and she was right. It does seem to help.
  • I am using my Tazorac every other night. Like it or not, I think I'm stuck with this perscription.
I have enough skincare product left for maybe 2 more Weekly Facials, but I think my diary is going to stop here. I think I have enough information to make my recommendations for myself. This discovery process really has been for me, though the reviews I have written I have tried to write objectively, thinking that products that didn't work for me could be better suited for others.

So What Did I Purchase?
In the end the only thing I purchased from Ling Skincare for the time being is the Instant Oxygen Recovery Mask. It's just fantastic and my skin has missed it in the past two weeks. Ok, I also purchased the Ling Lip Balm (which I have not tried) because I was curious.

I Will Most Likely Purchase In the Future...
I doubt this will be my last purchase from Ling. I definitely will be making another purchase with other products as I run out from my little Weekly At-Home Facial Kit. Here's what I'll order in the (near) future:
  • The Purifying Facial Cleanser - When I run out of my cleanser from my derm I will probably get this cleanser. I did like it. And it seems to work well with my preferred toner.
  • Elastin & Collagen - I'll be writing a review on this. But I think my skin will thank me for this in the winter.
  • Re-Lite Eye Gel - This is going to be part of my routine for a good long while I think. I will purchase when I run out.
Still Iffy On...
  • Spotlight Papaya Resurface Peel - Since I like this best as a scrub I am better off getting a cheaper scrub, right?
  • Herbal Clay Clarifying Mask - I did like this product but I am skeptical as to how often I would actually use it. If I get it it will be as an impulse buy when I repurchase something else.
  • Moisture Plenish - I owe you a review on this, but I think the only time my skin will need this might be in the dead of winter at this point.
  • Oxygen Plasma Potion - While I like it as a "solution" better than Moisture Plenish the jury is still out. But most likely I will be purchasing when I run out. I do owe you a review - just let me make up my mind about it.
Most Likely Will Not Ever Purchase
  • Replenishing Hydrator - I owe you a review for this but It's just not for me at this time. If my skin ever gets really dry or I'm desperate in the winter maybe.
  • Ginseng Therapy Moisture Mask - I owe you a review on this one, but I just don't think this product is for me.
Final thoughts on the At-Home Weekly Facial As a Whole
I don't think I could do the weekly facial thing for the rest of my life. I did do it for the purpose of this review. But in reality, I don't like to take that much time on a regular basis. I do like the core Daily Regimen and would recommend tailoring it to your skin's needs (such as using Oxygen Plasma Potion instead of Moisture Plenish or a different toner). The kit IS a good purchase - you will get your use out of it for $85. But I know myself enough to know that I will be picking and choosing from this line, and mixing with other lines. I've already started doing that after all.

Thank you to Ling Skincare for allowing me to review all the products I have reviewed. I will continue to round out my collection of reviews and get them posted (I'm not done yet). I love it when companies are so good to bloggers. I hope that my readers have enjoyed my journey with this company as much as I have.
