Quest For My Pretty - Spud's Bud's Flatbread Pizza Recipe

I'm always looking for new recipes that are low cal but taste great. My online pen pal "Spud's Bud" decided to send me one of his recipes. I have not tried this one yet, but I think it looks yummy and easy. Spud's Bud too is losing weight and watching what he eats so I consider him a good resource.

Spud's Bud's Flat Bread Pizza



Ingredients
  • Flat bread - Spud's Bud recommends a whole wheat kind.
  • Olive Oil
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Tomato Paste
  • Turkey Pepperoni
  • Black Olives
  • Whole Tomatoes
  • Low Fat Mozzarella Cheese
Nutritional Info
The nutrient  count will vary depending on what you use.
  • 250 calories,20 carbs 
  • under 2 saturated fats
  •  around 10 grams of protein
  • Plus the omega 3 fats from the olive oil
Directions
  1. Use wheat flat bread but use whatever kind you like or fits your diet plan.
  2. Coat both side with olive oil then toast under a broiler. It only takes a minute so keep a eye on them!
  3. Brush on tomato sauce and paste,but be warned that the paste contains twice the sugars an calories then the sauce.
  4. Add whatever toppings you like.
  5. Add the spices to the top of the pizza on top of the cheese.
  6. Broil until cheese is melted .
