Quest for My Pretty - Weekly Weight Loss Report

I am having a great time right now... SHOPPING! I've lost enough weight that I pretty much have to get a new wardrobe to get me through the next few months. My husband reluctantly agrees, but is upset that I'll have to go through a shopping binge again in a few months time.

The entire week I've been thinking "oh no... this is the week that I'm going to gain." I know it's coming. How could it not? I'm lifting heavier weights, my "munchies" are becoming less controllable than they used to be. Hopefully that means good things for my metabolism, but it's still problematic when you end up having a little too much wine and eating a ton of pistachios. So I am being truthful when I say this: If I gain this week, I deserve it. If I lose, I am lucky. And who knows what will happen since I'm weight lifting and adding muscle by supposedly losing fat.

Weight: 173.1 lbs (-0.9)
I call that maintaining. I'm happy to take that right now. Can't lose big every week and as I said, I don't deserve it this week.

What Went Right This Week
  • I am in my "Goal" jeans  - my Joe's Jeans Honeys are being put to use. More on that later in a separate post.
  • I am challenging myself more with my weight lifting. 
What My Husband Did Right This Week
  • HUGE shout out to Mike for going on a 50 mile bike ride with our neighbor Rob. He needs to catch up if we're going to pull off our Halloween costume that he decided we are doing.
What to Focus on For Next Week
I need to understand why I'm tempted to snack more. I need to balance out my eating a bit too. I'm saving too many of my calories for the end of the day, and I would do better to eat smaller portions more often. I know this, but it takes a lot of work and education (for me and my husband) to do this. Any tips?
