Quest for My Pretty - Weekly Weight Loss Report

Do you watch The Biggest Loser? I've been watching it this season more so than I have in the past. They ran the Biggest Loser Marathon last night and everyone completed it (much to my surprise). I hope some day I can do something like that, though I really don't know if I'll ever have the dedication.

This past week I really focused on my food and tried to get back to eating better. I even tried a recipe for Kale Chips that Kristen Bell shared with Women's Health magazine an eon ago. Strange little snack. My husband (very lovingly and thoughtfully) derailed me a little by bring home a Mountain Berry Pie from the Grand Traverse Pie Company. But if you've been reading my progress for a long time you know that Mountain Berry Pie doesn't stop me!

Weight: 163.5 lbs (-1.6 lbs)
I'll take that gladly!

What Went Right This Week
  • I fit into the Anthropologie Moulinette Sours "Go-See" dress I purchased a couple of years ago. It's been hanging in my closet. Size 14. I forgot about it. I put it on last night and it fit!!! Actually, it was loose.
  • Diet was good.
  • Exercise was really good.
My Focus For Next Week
  • Review ChaLEAN Extreme Workouts - I will have completed my 90 days of ChaLEAN Extreme so I think it's time for me to review it for you. I will say this - anyone looking for a good at-home free weight heavy lifting program this is a nice one. 
  • Plan a strategy for working out post ChaLEAN Extreme - I know there is the "Lean for Life" program at the end of CLX but I want to see if I can incorporate some other items as well.
  • Cook at least one meal myself - I think one of the reasons I did well this week was that I made dinner one night instead of going, relying on Mike, or warming up a Lean Cuisine.
 I really want to get out of the 160s before the new year. But with the holidays, that's going to be a tough goal.
