Quest for My Pretty - Weekly Weight Loss... Delay

As some of you may know, I am currently running a Shakeology Cleanse on Facebook. One of my partners in this cleanse is Kimi from A Slice of Kiwi (who's blog I definitely recommend you check out) if you're into healthy life style reading especially. My other partner in cleanse is RaeAnn, who narrowly avoided food poisoning because she was drinking Shakeology and not eating with her friends/family. You can read all about what's going on - I think anyone can look at that Event page.

You should know, that I've made a decision. I'm on my 8th week of TurboFire and I have decided that doing that workout plus 3 days of ChaLEAN Extreme weight lifting is too much. TurboFire, after all, is meant to be a complete fitness routine. I think I am being smart here here and just knowing when I'm doing too much. I really have been exhausted!

Last week I weighed 158.8 lbs.

So where does that leave me?
Here are my count for the cleanse so far:

Obviously, I will check back in tomorrow and let you know the result of my Cleanse in terms of weight loss. Then we'll use that weight to measure against next week's weigh in. There's a good chance, as always, that I'll gain some of it back because of water weight but we'll just have to see.

In the mean time, I'm trying to think of stuff to start doing for Lent. I'm a very religious person, but I'm sure you remember that I often like to challenge myself during this time. Two years ago I did an 80 miles in 40 days challenge (which I killed). Last year I dropped the ball and I don't remember challenging myself to do anything. So this year I have to do something!

Here Are Some Ideas I am Toying With....
  • 400 Triceps Push-ups in 40 days - These aren't your regular push-ups. These are the killer ones where your arms are close to your body and your bicep isn't doing the work. I am tired of not being able to complete a set of 10 (I can barely get past 2 on my toes). I propose that I try to do 10 a day and record how many I do on my knees vs. toes keeping track of both numbers on my toes and on my knees (we hope the latter will be the larger by the end of this). 
  • 40 Dinners Cooked in 40 days - Far less likely. I don't cook well, so maybe this should be 20 dinners cooked in 40 days. But either way it might help me out (and make my husband happy).
  • 2000 Crunches in 40 days - My other trouble spot is my abs so I'm tempted to take this one on, but I think I'll actually get the most out of the triceps challenge. 
  • No Fried Chicken for 40 Days - I've done food challenges before and they are tough. I don't like them because it usually means a big backlash later. 
If you have any other ideas let me know. I'll be posting which one I'm doing on March 8th, beginning the challenge on March 9th. I'll have to pick a reword for myself too...
