New Skincare Challenge - Mary Kay Timewise Skincare Line

Oh boy! Another Skincare Challenge!

As I've mentioned before on this blog, my good friend and workout buddy Sable became a Mary Kay consultant.  She is head over heals for their Timewise skincare line, and I know other people who love it as well. In fact, one local blogger once gave me her samples of Avon because, as she said, "I won't let anything but Mary Kay touch my skin!" Wow. That's commitment.

Although I was loathed to give up my Renee Rouleau products, I agreed to try Mary Kay Timewise for a month just to see if it lives up to it's reputation. My skin has been good for a while, so we'll see if it still works.

Ground Rules for Timewise Routine
This skincare routine is very basic. You have a cleanser, then a serum (there's one for day and one for night), and a moisturizer. Nothing else. But I am going to tweak this because I don't want the same thing to happen to me that happened the last time I tried a skincare challenge with a line:
  • I will use the products morning and night as advised.
  • I will continue use of my prescribed Tazorac cream, working it in every other night.
  • I am going to continue use of my Renee Rouleau serums if I feel I need them (and I will note that when I do). Anti-cyst is wonerful and I'm not giving it up!
  • I will use my own eye cream of choice. Since Sable didn't provide me one, I consider this a perfectly find addition.
I will write a post once a week talking about how my skin fared through the week. I'll update you if I notice any significant changes.  I'll provide reviews on each product, if I feel they are worth of review. This challenge will last until the end of July or until my supply of the product runs out.

Let the games begin!
