New Fitness Goal For Lent:
Last year, I did 400 Push Ups in 40 days. This time, I intend to do 600.
Doing Les Mill's Pump and Shred on Monday I was confronted with a reality: my arm muscles are not as strong as they were when I was doing Insanity back in October. I really didn't like that I couldn't even make it to 10 Pushups before having to go to my knees. That's ridiculous and I'm better than that!
Last year my only rule was that I was doing Tricep Pushups. This time I'm making up some more parameters:
- 15 Pushups instead of 10 - 10 was too easy last year.
- Any type of pushup so long as they aren't on my knees! - I have a nice repertoire of pushups thanks to Insanity so I should use them.
- At least 5 of my Pushups a day should be Tricep Pushups.
So... what should I reward myself with at the end of this? Hmmm....
