Quest for My Pretty - Weight Loss Report

I'm bragging about my girl - she's so awesome!
I'm so excited! Last week my girl Maya took her Turbo Kick certification class. This past weekend my other friend Melissa took hers. Turbo is taking over! I love it! Maybe it already took over and we're just late to the party, but it feels like the start of something fun!

But that's beside the point. The BETTER point is that my April Challenge Group just finished up Week 2! That means Weigh-in Time! Last week, collectively us 6 ladies lost around 12 lbs. It was pretty sweet! Because so many of us had such huge losses last week I think we'll continue but probably not as much. I know that is the case for myself. But regardless, I did AWESOME:

Weight: 166.8 lbs (-2.8 lbs)

I was super successful last week in getting 10,000 steps in every day. No joke! Saturday night, when I arrived home at 11:30 pm, I even grabbed my husband and we walked an extra 1.1 miles around our neighborhood just so I could finish out my day with steps. So fun and awesome!

This week I plan to try to get some extra sleep. I need to set a bedtime on 10:30 pm. I think if I do this I'll get enough sleep to wake up early and get my workout in. You see, I have this habit of reading until I fall asleep - which is about an hour after I actually get into bed. Horrible sleep hygiene, but that's what it is. Wish me luck!
